Supplies for Bead Jewelry Making
I’m planning on embarking on a new journey, a journey towards a new hobby. What hobby is that? Bead jewelry making. I have yet to start on it. I don’t even know when I’ll be able to start! But this early, I am already starting to stock up on various supplies. One supply I have stocked up on is lucite beads in shades of orange and red. Why did I choose those colors? Well, I just thought the colors were so rich and vibrant and would definitely add an extra splash of refreshing colors to whatever design I come up with. Actually, the store where I bought the beads had a whole assortment of equally vibrant colors like blue, green, yellow, purple and of course my favorite, pink! Have you ever seen those striped hard candies which are often in red and white? The beads look like that except that they are shaped like a tiny ball. Pretty neat, huh

Bead Table Wednesday On the Go Originally uploaded by CraftyHope Today was a long one. I helped out my sister-in-law again by taking her to a string of doctor appointments. As usual, I over packed my bag of things to do while I waited as I ended up only using the beading supplies and my iPad. The picture is of the clipboard I had precariously balanced in my lap. I’m working on another JUNK necklace (or two) and simply spread out all the bits and pieces on a bead mat. So while it isn’t technically my “bead table”, it is what I was working on this particular Wednesday! As such, it’s my Bead Table Wednesday submission. I would complete umteen pages and then notice that I didn’t correct the font color on the previous 10 or so pages. So… edit…edit…edit…. Then while on my way to a special employment seminar, June 2, 2005, some crazy driver plowed into the side of my car, 2002 Hyundai Elantra. I was sitting in the passenger seat that fateful day and she hit directly behind my seat and continued until she managed to take out the rear axle. What was she thinking??? Or better still… what was she on??? Three days later, GEICO completed the estimate of damages totaling over $4,000. I didn’t even see the damages as I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I am still undergoing treatment and under my doctor’s care. I don’t think that my neck will ever be the same. My right shoulder still hurts. I require an operation on my right knee.
