I don’t know who Jules B. spoke to but I can tell you vintage pocket watches, I have lived in Sherman Oaks since 1998 and have been taking my items to this jeweler ever since, so I know them fairly well. They would not be in business as long as they have if they were a “front” for something.. and then to accuse the other review as a “fake” really? ?I’m sorry you had a bad experience but you’re a bit extreme with your “theories” and I’m not sure who you dealt with there as I have always had a wonderful experience. As to parking.. I can tell you this business was there loooong before the other business’s that actually cause the issues with the bad parking.I was sent to them by a friend and I have sent many others.. all who have had awesome experiences and work done. Another thing I have noted is many seniors doing business here, bringing small things in for repair and I have always seen them taken care of with fairness and kindness. I doubt a senior or their care takers would put up with behavior like you have described.. ?( I say care takers because many times the seniors ?have someone drive them there or at least some of the ones I’ve seen in the store) ?those grandma’s are tough and wouldn’t put up with that kind of treatment… lolon another note.. since the above poster is obviously skilled in the ways of the computer why was there no research done about the dangers of “diamond switching” before hand if it was such a huge concern and the ring was so precious? Remember they (the jeweler) have just as much to worry about as you do.. How do they know YOUR not a scammer with an agenda.. Who’s to say you couldn’t be the one to get the ring repaired then take it to get the diamond switched ?and accuse him of taking it? did you think of that scenario?one last note… $10 to remove links from a watch band is a very fair and common price. (I’ve seen $20 on the high end) Is he now suppose to fix it for free because there was an issue in another place in the band? That’s like asking your mechanic to to fix your generator when if fails right after he’s replaced the battery… and you weren’t happy the first time why did you go back? If you were so unhappy about a simple watch band why would you trust your cherished item to them anyway?
Strange, very strange encounter with the owner to be revealed momentarily. First- back story: ?I’ve had my watch band sized (10 bucks to take out a couple links…hm, seems like a lot for 4 minutes, but ok.) and two days later the band broke- took it back in, owner said well, that wasn’t where he removed the links, so it wd cost another 10. to repair this. Um, ok…20. on a watch band, sigh. The man isn’t a friendly guy- but crochety is ok with me, if he’s good at his work, and honest. However- I don’t think he is. Here’s the weird story:My mother gave me her engagement ring from my dead dad- which means it has big-time sentimental value. I was most diplomatic in explaining this- and explaining I’d seen shows on stores that switch diamonds for zircons– so concerned abt that- how does one insure this won’t happen (I was SO polite, so respectful, explained I wasn’t questioning him- just wanted to know the process). The man went OFF! “How do I know I can trust YOU?!” he thundered. Wha–? “I’m a customer,” I said “the only trust you need is that I’ll pay you–or you keep the ring til I do…I don’t understand…I’m sorry if I offended, that isn’t my intention…the ring is so important…” ‘We ALL have skeletons in our closet,” he replied loudly. ?Big pause. “Um, well Wholesale Costume Jewelry, what is the price for a ring sizing..?” “You’d have to BRING IT IN so I could look at it,” he said with exasperated, nasty condescension, like I was as dumb as a post. There is a general pricing for ring sizing, I know. And lots of times you can get a ring sized while you wait–why did he not say these things? How many diamond-scam skeletons does he have in that old closet of his? Nope, not a place I trust, not one whit, one jot or one tittle. Phhht.(p.s. I think the other review here is a fake. There are NOT ‘always people’ in the store. Parking can be hard- busy strip mall. I don’t know how it stays in business…hm Men’s Jewelry, maybe it’s a front for something else)
I have been going to this jeweler for many years and have had only excellent experiences. ?The work has always been done exactly as required, and if I’ve needed something quickly, they have always been accommodating. ?The prices for repair have been more than fair in every case. ?There are many jewelers in the area, and I choose to drive an extra few miles to Riverton. ?The parking can be difficult at times, but it’s worth the trouble. ?I read the other two reviews on this website and definitely agree with the one written on 9/10/10.
I found this place through a co-worker. I needed to get a stone reset in a ring. I went in and talked with Chuck about what kind of setting I wanted. I got a new handmade setting and it looks great. I got a good price and they didn’t take forever. They even resized it for free and bought my old setting for more than the gold was worth. Chuck has been in the business forever and really knows his stuff. There are always people in the store and parking. If you’re looking for something and he doesn’t have it, he can probably make it.

*** Very courteous and responsive customer service. ***I called here Xmas Eve searching for a particular braceletand earrings that I wanted to purchase for a last minute gift.I got a charming woman in Operations who took my info andpromised to respond within 1hr. ?She called back in 30 mins. She told me the items were sold out in every CA store, but if I were to order online, HQ (NYC) would deliver within 2 days.So I went online to order. ? It takes just a few minutes to do. ?2-day delivery is free for all orders over $300 … Winning!Fedex delivered to my doorstep before New Year, voil.*** Items were nice and I really like the lil blue boxes. ***
Everyone loves the little blue (or teal, in my eyes) box! I often shop this location for small gifts for big occasions. One of my best friends is pregnant with her first child, and I thought it would be nice to get a gift for the baby shower from Tiffany. Who wouldn’t want a keepsake like that? I understand it gets busy, and I understand its Beverly Hills. I’ve often had great service at this location, but on this particular day, as I sported my spinning wear, I wasn’t as impressed. The gift (a silver, engraved baby spoon and fork set) ?went over without a hitch! The product quality is always awesome, just wish the service was a little cheer-ier sometimes.
I went in here to get a thank you present for my son’s teacher. I had five options of things I could get her. They had none. The guy told me that they now under-stock because of the economy. This was not what I expected from Rodeo Dr. They also were waiting in a group like vultures at the door as I entered. It seemed a bit pathetic and annoying. I just bought something fast to get out faster. ?There was also an older woman in the silver jewelry section that looked at me as if I was an infidel. ?I am a paying customer and wasn’t even dressed like a bum, (even though when I go shopping I tend to dress down as not to get accosted by tons of sales people.) ?That lady really needed to remember that she does not OWN Tiffany, but rather is a servant to people there. ? I managed a couple of high end luxury stores in South Coast Plaza years ago and I still knew I was a servant. ? The size of the store is good though. I prefer the South Coast Plaza or NY ?location more though.
The sales people are all really helpful. Even knowing that we were just browsing they were more than willing to show us anything we wanted, even if it required that we go to a special room to try it on. The staff was knowledgeable about the products and did not hesitate to explain anything we did not understand
I had visited several other jewelry stores and would walk out when not treated right. then I found Tiffany & Co. Wow what a selection, everything sparkles and honestly the service was 5 stars thanks to Nora who helped me pick out the right diamond earrings. It’s really the name that brought me here and now I know why Tiffany Jewelry is such a special gift for that special someone in your life! 3K later and still a smile on my face ) will buy jewlery from here again
Came here this morning with my friends Rico and Thomas, taking a gander at some of T&Co’s offerings…what can I say, I have an affinity for tiny Tiffany blue boxes/bags! My friends proceeded ahead of me as I wanted to do the touristy thing of snapping a photograph of the entryway. I advanced through the doors and was promptly greeted by security and then by a Sales Professional by the name of John Bishop. I explained to him that I normally shop at the T&Co South Coast Plaza and have only been to the Rodeo store one time prior. We chatted for about four minutes about a number of topics. He was a very nice person.I then met up with my friends as they were being assisted by a SP in the silver jewelry department. I didn’t get her name antique watches, but the woman who was assisting them was stuck-up and totally fake. I could tell she prejudged us, operating under the assumption that we were not serious patrons and would not purchase anything. I HATE sales people like that! I’ve only encountered that ‘tude at Tiffany’s two other times: once at South Coast Plaza (where I was standing around looking for over five minutes and the chick never assisted me, so I hunted down someone and complained, making a purchase with that Sales Professional), and the other time at the Tiffany located at the Bellagio in Vegas (I was going to buy, my now ex, a necklace/bracelet/earring ensemble, which I ended up buying at South Coast Plaza). We went upstairs and wanted to take a peek at the 14-carat Emerald Cut engagement ring (which only costs $2.6 million) and were immediately greeted by both SP there. One lady ended up assisting a couple looking at The Tiffany Setting, while the other was really nice and wanted to assure and answer any questions we had. The SP’s name was Nora Primo…a true sweetheart! It grieves me to leave this 4 star rating all because of one sales person’s indiscretion. We came back down and she copped an attitude, dispelling any notion of us making a purchase. Boy, she sure changed after we purchased something! The moral of this story? Make sure you see Nora or John if you are interested in patronizing the Rodeo store.
Wow.. Someone actually came up to me to see if I needed help… and the place was kinda packed. ?I usually have to chase after someone to help me out, ?when I do get help it’s with an attitude.. I guess they think I don’t have the funds ha.. sorry next time I won’t go in gym clothes wearing sandals and have my hair up in an ugly bun. I end up thanking them politely then looking for someone else to help me. Then, making my purchase with a sales person that helps me out with a smile.Ohh I find it so entertaining when the first sales person see me walking out the door with a bag.So 4 stars for you. Thank you for not judging me by my faded gym pants.
I love this store.I always get wonderful service here. ?They can ship gifts for you as well. ?Just pick it out, they’ll put it in the blue box with ribbon and ship it off with a gift card.I’m a big fan of their barware. ?My friends seem to enjoy a big blue box full of glasses… ?wine glasses, martini glasses and recently they have beer glasses. ?My friends and I love the crystal pilsner glasses. They have many gifts under $100 and even a special section on the web site: ? I like their Christmas ornaments and enjoy sending those out in early December for friends and family to hang on their trees ?:)I am pleased that I get the same service here in jeans and a t-shirt as I do on the rare occasion when I shop in a suit.
I love Tiffany’s…but this location makes me sick. I went in with the intention to by myself earrings, a bracelet and some things on a wedding registry. I waited for almost 20 minutes for someone to help me in a half empty store, while everyone walked past me. And when someone did, she spoke to me with disdain and treated me like I was in there to use the restroom or something. Even as I was dropping over $1,000, her attitude still did not change. I ended up telling her how rude she was and walking out and going to the Tiffany’s in South Coast Plaza, which was a little better and I spent a little more money just on that fact. I vowed never to walk into another Tiffany’s again…. but I am only human and cannot help myself. I ended up at the new one in City Center In Las Vegas, Nevada. I met the best sales associate there. She was great and as I purchased a necklace there, I told her of my bad experiences in the past. She gave me her business card and told me if I ever see anything to call her and she will ship it to me for free so that I don’t have to walk into Tiffany’s anymore. Well, she has kept her word. It’s nice knowing now that I don’t have to worry about snotty sales associates in California anymore.
My sister-in-law just lost the diamond from her six prong Tiffany engagement ring after only three years. She doesn’t do anything excessive with her hands. Her job requires her to type. When she took it in to this location (where it was purchased) they told her that although they could see one of the prongs was broken, it was not their responsibility and the warranty she supposedly had was void. My brother purchased her ring from Tiffany thinking that he was getting quality and service: a reputable company who stand behind their product. NOT SO! As it turns out, not only is their craftsmanship appalling, so is their customer service and their guarantees mean nothing! She is devastated to have had her supposed heirloom fall apart but even more so that Tiffany couldn’t care less. She probably could have gotten a better quality diamond ring from a small business jeweler who would have actually cared about their reputation if something like this had happened. Save your money fellas, go to a mom & pop where you’ll more likely actually get what you pay for. Don’t waste it on Tiffany’s hiked up prices, with poor craftsmanship and less than poor service. Shame on you Tiffany & Company! DON’T shop at hills Beverly Hills location!!!!
Tiffany and I have a love hate relationship. We see each other only when I have really good or really bad days. Either you are single and you need a pick me up.. watching friends buy jewelry is actually a pick-me-up; or you are with someone that you want to express your feelings.A lesson in life that I have learned, All things that glitter.. you should try to ignore cause it means you can eat a little more if you don’t notice the shine. This includes diamonds, cars, girls, guys =P

After reading the reviews I was very wary about going to this location. However, the experience was most interesting. We were greeted immediately. We were looking for a charm to add to my bracelet. A lady immediately came to assist. I was looking specifically for the high heel shoe charm. She knew exactly what I was talking about. No price was discussed and my fiance paid via credit card.Very nice service, but it was the first time I have ever been to a store where the price was not discussed. It is Beverly HIlls though.
Matt B. and I are celebrating our first anniversary soon and we decided to hit up Tiffany for a Frank Gehry ring. ?(Yes, you may re-read that sentence to include the obvious details – it was at least 80% my idea, and no, not an engagement ring.) ?I wanted to check out a specific ring so we called ahead to see if they had it. ?Guess what. ?When you call this location of Tiffany & Co, you get a switchboard. ?You have to press numbers for various jewelry departments and the employees seem incapable of transferring you to other parts of the very small store. ?We were at one point put on hold then told we would get a call back shortly. ?That never came.In other news, though, the service at the physical store was great. ?We were helped first by a friendly man, then by a very enthusiastic woman, and shown various sizes and styles with not only patience but real cheer. ?I ended up getting the wrong ring size due to bloated fingers on a hot day, and when we went to exchange it there were no problems. The woman who helped us was kind of hilarious, though. ?When we came the second time, she immediately recognized my boyfriend but wasn’t sure if I was the same girl. ?Once she saw the ring she admitted that she was being discreet. ?So all you two-timers who are brazen enough to bring two girls to the same store in a one-week period, you’ll be just fine here.As for the jewelry and store, it’s more or less what you’d expect. ?The Rodeo Drive location is one of the largest in the L.A. area, and the selection is accordingly vast. ?There’s a really nice corporate office upstairs where you use the bathroom. ?It’s a Tiffany on Rodeo, so there’s an air of luxury to the whole place. ?I’m happy that we checked it out in person, and other than the switchboard nonsense, the experience was very pleasant.
I know Shallow of me
came here a couple times and they were always nice. i like how this store is big too!
Last year, as I’m getting ready for work, I hear a *ding* on our hardwood floors. I look down and there is a sparkly speck on the floor. I glance at my ring finger and cry out in horror when I realize what just happened!! ?I was so upset…my tiffany diamond had fallen out! ?If we had carpet in our apartment, I never even would have known. We immediately drove down to the Tiffanys in BevHills and they were sympathetic and took every measure to assure me they would fix this problem. ?My husband bought the ring in Atlanta, Ga. ?It was sent off to New York and 2 weeks later I had a ‘safer’ ring. They had bulked up the prongs holding my princess cut diamond without making it look too bulky. ?They assured me that had it been lost, they would have payed for the diamond. A note went into my profile and if it happened again I wouldn’t be liable. They also gave me tips on how to check for looseness. I go back regularly to make it sparkly again (AKA get it cleaned) and they always clean my other non-Tiffany band with no complaining even though they don’t have to. I wish I could remember the man in the white lab coat who was so helpful.
I absolutely adore anything from Tiffany & Co ?This is Beverly Hills so you will run in to many tourists but not too many teenage girls. ?However I think there is nothing wrong with teenage girls or guys shopping here. ?There is something for almost EVERYBODY. ?So many different style for all kinds of people- from cute, sexy, classy, elegant. ?timeless pieces…love them all. ?Service here is excellent. ?Spent a long time deciding on my purchase (I need to think critically before deciding on something) but people were patient and super nice to me which I really appreciated!!! Good. ?Nice, relaxing atmosphere. ?12 year olds can pull off Tiffany’s, even a 90 year old lady can. ?Even a guyfriend wears Atlas ring for men and it looks cool ! ? You can find some beautiful gifts for under 300 bucks, which is not so bad (I saw an engagement ring that costs $4000, wow.) ?To complete your day, I recommend you eat at ?FISH HOUSE which is right ACROSS from Tiffany. ?I would describe it as a swanky, yet casual restaurant with super fresh seafood…mmmm…. ?And also, order the Crab tower….but….that is another review =P
I have never bought anything from this location but they do repair here for their jewelry… which I’ve need 3 times in 3 years. ?Every experience there has been disconcerting. ?The repair department said they could help me till they got a part in and after talking to them for 10 min about the urgency, suddenly, they had the part and did the work in 5 min. ?What? ?Also, I went to buy a ring and waited and waited and waited while no one came to help me even though I knew the one I wanted and the size. ?I gave up and never did purchase it. ?These employees are not professionals in the least.
So a couple of reviews ago, I stated that the Century City Tiffany and Co. was the only one I would ever go to. ?I redact this statement. ?Let’s have story time to explain. ?About a month ago, I was given a limited edition Frank Gehry Torque ring from Tiffany. ?It’s solid opal. ?If you glance at it, it just looks like a white plastic ring. ?Once you really look at it, however, you can see the craftsmanship, the veins, the delicacy of it. ?It’s the only thing I own that is opal, my birth stone. ?I love this ring. ?I want to have this ring forever.I broke this ring at the Dodgers/Mets playoff game. ?I clapped too hard and it smacked against my old silver thumbprint Elsa Peretti and BAM my lovely ring was in two pieces, I turned white as a sheet, and almost puked Dodger dog on the man in front of me. ?The next morning, I immediately went to the Century City Tiffany and Co., half-hysterical. ?They told me little beyond that fact that they didn’t have any available rings in my size, sending me over to Beverly Hills.I showed up at the Beverly Hills store, hysterical, half-crying, still wearing gym apparel, and probably at least somewhat hungover. ?It could have been a moment right out of “Pretty Woman.” ?It wasn’t. ?They replaced my ring, no questions, no cost. The lesson? ?No jewelry at sporting events and only go to this location.
Oh, Tiffany…One day, one day…*sigh*
Girls love Tiffanys, as we should! After a little lunch at 208 Rodeo my honey took me to buy a little gift as a surprise. Service was perfect as always and I left with a new I Love You necklace! Great day! Cheers
Frankly, I’m not a Tiffany kind of girl because I consider it the jewelry equivalent of Coach (i.e., affordable luxury for the masses . . . and teenage girls everywhere), but I came to this store last weekend to buy my mother a Christmas present. ?Last time we were on Rodeo Dr. we went inside Tiffany and she really liked this one cross necklace by Elsa Peretti, but I thought it was absolutely hideous and told her so. ?This time, when I went I saw a very simple looking white gold cross with a teeny tiny diamond on it that looked nice. ?When I asked the salesman how much it cost he said it was $800. ?I asked if he had anything cheaper Wholesale Costume Jewelry, because as much as I love my mom, I wasn’t going to buy her an overpriced necklace. ?He showed me some other crosses that were in the cases around the store, but they were all ugly or overprices so I told him plainly that I didn’t want to spent too much, but I wanted something simple and classic looking. ?He ended up pulling out a box from underneath the counter that had exactly what I was looking for. ?It was a Paloma’s Tenderness Cross and it only cost $200. ?I told him I’d take it and he wrapped it up for me in the classic Tiffany blue box.I was happy that that salesman listened to me and was able to help me find what I wanted and I hope my mom enjoys her gift!
My baby sister’s getting married. She’s got an Audrey obsession. I realize that I can buy the traditional $100/$150 bottle of wine I get people at weddings, or go all out and get something from Tiffany’s that will last a bit longer.Wine is fantastic and all..but the smile on her face when she saw the BIG BABY BLUE BOX?! Oh my..and to my surprise, the salespeople were sweet and helpful, and the present left me enough to get the bottle of decent wine to go into the champagne ice bucket with handles, too!As for a tourist stop, well..honey, put on that black dress and take you some pictures! I say, more power to you!
Ok let me start of by saying I work in the Jewelry district in downtown and I was already expecting high prices when I came here, but this is outright highway robbery here. ?I wanted to get some silver pieces because Tiffanys is name brand but after the awful service and absurd prices I just said to hell with them and their name brand crap. ?You get way more attentive service in Downtown LA, that seems wrong to me considering the price tags on this stuff and the name. ?I recently got an engagement ring with a 2 carat diamond at a small but reputable company in downtown for 15k, to spend 1,000 on silver just seems silly now. ?Avoid retail like the plague, do research and shop local non corporate, better service, reasonable prices.
I came to this location knowing exactly what I wanted, I asked a sales professional where this particular item was and they referred me to go down the stairs where they carry that item….umm…okay, then once I found what I was looking for, I asked to purchase it, and all of a sudden the sales person wants to chat and be overly friendly..not interested. Service was not the best. South Coast Plaza is much better.
As an assistant in the entertainment industry I had to make one too many trips to Tiffany’s to pick up orders. ?Holy crap they have the worst customer service EVER. ?Every single time I would have to wait for assistance and then when I got it, the person helping me would have no idea what they were doing. ?Just horrible. ?I’ve wasted so many hours of my life here. You can’t help but window shop here though. ?And spending $100 for a special gift makes it even more special when it’s in the blue Tiffany’s box. ?Overpriced, yes. ?Glamorous and classic, yes. ? Horrible customer service, yes.
Why do girls go crazy when they see the Tiffany’s blue box and white ribbon? ?I guess for the same reason I do, someone must love me! Your shopping on Rodeo Drive is not complete until you reach T & Co. You can pick me up the Tiffany Metropolis sliver ring!Christmas everyday!
Love the ?jewelry! but not the service. One time my mother and I went to purchase my dad a ring for his birthday, we were completly overlooked and the sales guy acctually tried to serve a man who arrived after us before my mum piped up and said “well, acctually, WE were here FIRST.” Strike one for the working middle class .Another time my dad was treated very rudly here, basically ignored as he stood by the ring cabinet, staring at a ring, with his wallet in hand waiting to be served. When he was finally served he said the staff was very rude and he felt like it was because he was in his work uniform (MTA operator). They sure did STFU though when he ? reached into his wallet and pulled out a wad of hundreds.
It was June 2010. My anniversary was coming up, and I always give a great gift to my wife Lauren. My wife grew up in a wealthy family in the Upper East Side. I also grew up in an upscale family in Dunthorpe, Portland (the richest neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. So I decided to get a gift from Tiffany’s. A sales professional named John Bishop helped me out. I told him our lifestyle, my career as a surgeon, and my cost. He then promptly picked out the finest choices. I bought the special Tiffany Five Row Bangle of Diamonds. As I am typing this she still wears this. John also told me that the Solitaire Diamond Earrings would be a perfect match. I decided to purchase it. After deciding how much money I was spending, I decided “Well, I might as well get a watch.” So I got an Atlas watch for about $3,100. And then I decided that a gift for my daughter Taylor would be nice. So I bought her a China Platter Plate, a China Pitcher, a two China bowls, and a small heart box for pendants. All and all the final bill was $17,500. But if you saw the smiles on my wife’s and daughter’s faces. It was unforgettable.
Tiffany is Tiffany is Tiffany, so this review is for the location – not the brand.I’ve bought two items here, my wedding band and my husband’s cufflinks. ?Both times the salespeople were quite patient and kind, and not pushy (unlike the Century City location). ?We had at least 8 incarnations of my wedding band (jazz) pulled to examine and choose from, without so much as an eye-roll from the salesperson we were working with – which is less common than you’d probably think. ?We got a lot of attitude at the CC Tiff’s, and other stores, for asking to see more than one of anything… as though each piece comes out exactly the same, gimme a break.Anyway, the Rodeo location is iconic and adds some fun to the buying experience. ?It also made the first trip more intimidating for me, but the staff was far more friendly than any other location I’ve been to.I would recommend this Tiffany over the other LA locations, but of course it is what it is – Tiffany is Tiffany is Tiffany.
Two best friends in college in San Diego. ?Graduation right around the corner and one is moving back to San Francisco. ?What do you do for each other? ?Take a trip to LA, stop by Tiffany’s, and get each other matching rings! ?HA! ?OK, it was from the silver section, but still, we wanted something special to give to each other for graduation, and we both happened to like the same ring. ?Our salesperson was very sweet and accommodating to our bittersweet ‘farewell’ gift to each other. ?She didn’t make us feel out of place in the house of bling. ?We picked out our simple silver rings and pledge our undying friendship to each other. ?Sappy – yes. ?Cheap? ?Not really. ?The memories every time I look at my ring – priceless.
As Kali M said, a Tiffany is Tiffany is Tiffany…but this is the Beverly Hills Tiffany, and it has to have higher standards. This review is about the service at this location – and I have to say it was outstanding!I was in LA on a working vacation with an ex-boyfriend, and we had made a spur of the moment trip to Las Vegas (Don’t worry I didn’t get married, but it did cross my mind). We were standing outside of the Bellagio watching the water show and my boyfriend said he had to go to the washroom, so I stood there and waited for him to come back – I wasn’t going to miss the show because he couldn’t hold his bladder. ?When he returned, he grabbed my hand and popped the most coveted item according to every girl I have ever asked…a little blue box. ?I knew it wasn’t a ring, it was to big. ?I opened it and there were a pair of heart shaped earrings from Paloma Picasso, I had been admiring in the Tiffany’s @ the Bellagio earlier that night. ?I was so happy I put them in right away:)We returned to LA the next day and decided to head over to Rodeo Drive for an afternoon of shopping. ?We just happened to pop back in to Tiffany’s to see how much more stock they had. ?I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and noticed that one of my earrings was missing….needless to say I LOST IT, figuratively and literally. ?I hadn’t had the earrings for more then 24hours and I had already lost one. ?We retraced our steps, and I was very VERY lucky to find the earring on the floor of the Lacoste store where I had purchased a shirt only 15 mins before. ?The only problem was that I couldn’t find the backing. We returned to the Tiffany’s and they did everything they could for us. ?They replaced the backing, polished the earrings and made sure that the backing were tight on the post and my ears so that something like this wouldn’t happen again.Every time I’m in LA I got back to this store and have them check the earrings as well as pick myself up a little something, to make sure I give them the business for everything they did for me.
Oooo the things that I could say about my former place of employment while I was at UCLA. However, the only things I have to say are positive…….. The world famous Tiffany & Co. in Beverly Hills, California *SIGH* *SWOON*…….. Location: Rodeo Dr. baby….. Yep, the land of the tourists, Older White people, Persians, and more tourists! Parking: There isn’t a direct parkin’ lot for this establishment but there are a few parkin’ lots around the corner and if you’re aim is to do a snatch and grab (I highly recommend not doing this kind of behavior cause you will get your ass beat and arrested) there are a few meters too. Floors: The last time I came in they had re-arranged the lay-out and the Fine Jewelry (The really expensive stuff that you can’t afford if you’re between the ages of 15-25) on the 2nd floor and everything else is on the first floor. So if you’re lookin’ for your generic Tiffany & Co. Open heart that everyone has I’d recommend going downstairs as opposed to wastin ‘your time on the 2nd floor. In addition, they also have a service department on the 3rd floor. Selection: Lookin’ for an engagement ring? A birthday present for your 13 year old daughter who shouldn’t really have an expensive 300 dollar necklace but wants one anyway…… Then Tiffany & Co is just for you! HAHA. No really. Everything and anything you can think of in terms of jewelryGifts: Gift coins, money clips, perfume, sunglasses, jewelry, watches… Tiffany & Co has something for everyone. Also, 99.9% of the time most people just want to receive something that comes in that Tiffany blue box.. True Story.Employees: Classy. I’m not sayin’ this cause I have a personal bias. But I’ve gotten to know a lot of them and they are all sweetiepies who are extremely knowledgable. I recommend George or Susie… Great personalities and they know what’s up. *Rule of Thumb: When you’re buyin’ gifts for people, 99.9% of guys make this very crucial mistake. I see this shit all the time and I wish I could plaster this shit all over my facebook to let know guys what’s up when they buy gifts for their girl/guy. If you’re gonna buy a gift for someone don’t buy something YOU think they would like.. Buy something you know they would LIKE. If you buy a necklace that YOU think that would look good on her. Chances are you and her don’t have the same taste. If you do… FANTASTIC. However, most times I see all these girls who come back in who return shit cause that shit was U.G.L.Y. Seriously, people drop hints about what they want all the time just be attentive and listen. Also, observe one’s style and their personality. If they wear earth tone colors, an inability to shave their armpits, and have dredlocks in their hair. I highly doubt they would want the 13 year old Jewish Princess RTT bracelet… Though, then again I could be wrong.. Probably not though. HAHA. Seriously, do your homework and buy something that they want… Hope you enjoy your Tiffany & Co experience.
Great store, great service, good baubles and dishwear. ?I have spent more time in this store than I care to admit. ?It was my job to buy gifts for clients and my office was across the street so I was here almost every day drooling over the items in the display cases.Jewelry and watches upstairs, knick-knacks, keychains, Elsa Perretti designs and housewear items downstairs.Items are obviously pricey…best to shop here if you are spending someone elses money…or you have a ton of it yourself.
I own quite a few Tiffany pieces. ?I’ve never had any problems with my items until now. ?My friend gave me a Tiffany bracelet for my birthday, which broke the first time I wore it. ?I took it to the closest Tiffany store in the area, which is Beverly Hills. ?It was a busy day, and I could barely get anyone to pay attention to me. ?A nice security guard helped me find a sales person to speak with about a repair or replacement. ?When the salesman finally finished a sale, he reluctantly helped me. ?He was not friendly, and seemed annoyed. ?I was wearing 3 of my Tiffany pieces at the time. ?You would think he would want to sell me more items. ?I’m a girl who loves jewelry! ?Hello! ?He told me that it would be expensive to repair the bracelet, and said it should be replaced. ?He took forever to check the store inventory, and finally said they did not have the bracelet in stock. ?He said he could order a replacement. ?BUT, I would have to pay the difference in tax! ?The bracelet was bought at a Tiffany store 2 hrs away, with a different tax. ?Why should I have to pay the difference in tax (no matter how minimal) when their product broke the first time I put it on? ?Seriously. ?I couldn’t believe it. ?I told him how ridiculous it sounded. ?He checked with the store manager, who said that was their policy. ?I asked them to check other Tiffany stores in the area for the same bracelet. ?He was on the phone for over 15 minutes. ?He came back and said no one had the bracelet in stock, so I would have to order it and pay the shipping and handling on top of the difference in tax! ?The manager confirmed it. ?I’ve never had such an issue with a broken/defective item before. ?You would think the Tiffany store would be more professional and courteous to their customers. ?I left so upset. ?I refused to order a replacement bracelet from them. ?There was no way I was paying extra tax and shipping for something that shouldn’t have broken in the first place. ?I just want a bracelet that I can wear!I actually did find my bracelet at the Americana at Brand Tiffany store. ?The sales people were all very friendly and had no problem replacing my bracelet. ?They gave me a new one on the spot, and did not charge me a dime. ?I told them about the treatment I received in Beverly Hills. ?They apologized. ?I will be doing business with them from now on.
I’ve purchased and received numerous items over the years from Tiffany & Co. ?Its items are simple and elegant. ?Be prepared to fight during Christmas time. ?It’ll be on a number system. The store has three stories. ?The customer service is on the third floor. ?The first level is Rodeo Drive. ?From Wilshire, going westbound, go north on Rodeo Drive. ?Make another right turn on Dayton and turn immediately to the right into valet parking. ?You don’t need to get validation. ?It’s free parking for 90 minutes. ?Take the elevator to the first floor which will put you at its second level entrance. ?There’s a restaurant immediately adjacent to Tiffany, which is over-rated. ?The wait period is long and the service is slow. ?I think that the tourists mostly go to that restaurant, although I’m uncertain.
Okay. ?I don’t go crazy over Tiffany & Co. jewelry. ?I find some of them endearing, classic Body Jewelry, even beautiful. ?But I don’t think some of the items are worth the price. ?Still, I find a lot of the pieces to be wonderful to behold. My sister wanted a pendant for her birthday. ?So we went over to the store. ?Upon entering, we were greeted with smiles. ?I relaxed, comfortable with knowing that the staff was not snooty. ?We asked about heart pendants, and was shown a piece by Lisa Peretti. ?It was a simple, but extremely trendy, pendant. ?We were unsure about buying it, so we asked for a business card.A week later, we returned. ?With impeccable service, we were shown the same pendant, but with different amounts of diamonds. ?My sister finally chose on with diamonds on the inner edge of the hollowed heart. ?The price tag was hefty at $2000 or so. ?But my sister loved the pendant and service was absolutely top. ?So I guess I can’t complain.
I’ve been here a few times whether to browse or have my jewelry cleaned. The associates are always nice and polite and the one hour service for cleaning is pretty quick. And its cheap! I am slightly biased tho since I love Tiffany.
I have always been a fan of Tiffany’s and this store is no exception. Store had a great collection. I looked around and knew instantly what I wanted to get. It took a little time to get service though which was kind of a disappointment. The manager just stood there looking till I started looking upset. Everybody who was shopping there was extremely annoying and distasteful and loud. The sales lady did apologize for other customers being so distasteful. This lady just stood there and looked at 10 different pieces and on each one said, I already have that. Just wanted to tell her to stop showing off you have all of them and look at something with purpose. ?Pros : It’s Tiffany’sIt’s on Rodeo driveCons: Annoying crowdJudge you based on appearance, should have gotten service way earlier.
What women/ girls don’t love Tiffany & Co. This location has a great selection compared to other locations, the place gets extremly crazy around the holidays. The sales people here are not snotty, they are pleasent and helpful and kind. They have many great gifts under $300.000.I have a lot of jewlery from here. When I need the jewelery cleaned I bring it here and they make the ring, bracelet, necklace or whatever I wanted cleaned look brand new.
Terrible service!!!I went there to buy earrings for my then fiance for her wedding gift. I saw the ones she liked in gold and waited for a sales associate. A lady looked up and asked me if I needed help. I told her when she is available. She rudely snapped back and said I am with these customers, you’ll have to wait! The other customers then said they actually need time to think so she could help me. I asked her if the gold earrings came in platinum and she snapped back saying yes but they cost more!! No shit sherlock! last time I looked platinum cost more than gold!! Very rude experience!! I will never shop there again!!
You know that scene in Pretty Woman where the sales clerks in Beverly Hills refused to help poor Julia Roberts? Well, that happened to me at this Tiffany’s. I had been sent by my mom to buy a gift for my grandmother’s 80th b-day… I had definite cash to burn and pretty much knew what I wanted to get her. The sales people in the expensive section of the store flat out refused to help me. I even had one tell me that she had to attend to customers that could actually purchase something in the store. The only reason I am refraining from giving one star is because I have had decent service from the sales people that man the cheap counters (you know, with the $150 earrings, etc.). I would rather drive a little further down the road and go to the one in Century City, where the sales associates actually appreciate your business.
i just went to Tiffany’s, in pasadena, to replace an earring for my friend in the UK. i sat down at customer service to replace the silver hoop earring in question…after click clacking online, the woman told me she’d have to send it in to quote it, b/c she could not identify the piece. i looked around (for the imaginery documentary cameras) and asked her if she could match the silver hoop (no bling, just hoop) with one of the ones on display. (it seems you have to have a PHD to work in customer service at tiffany’s!) 20 minutes later, she comes back to the desk…(my patience is low as im sitting there with a freaking back brace on, in pain, annoyed with her incompetance)…only for her to tell me it’ll be two weeks and $160. $160 for 1 hoop earring? i felt like ellen degeneres in the amex commerical meditating about her $36 argyle sock purchase. now–i do like the finer things in life–but that store is a freaking rip off. granted the rings & baby stuff are iconic and sweet, but most of the charm necklaces/bracelets in there look like silver coated hippy crap. (including the earring i am replacing for my friend) i think people shop tiffany’s b/c of the name, not b/c they HAVE TO HAVE THAT SILVER DOLPHIN CHARM. apologies to those whose taste, i’ve offended, but come on.
Walking along Rodeo Drive, my girlfriend, of course, insisted on a requisite visit to Tiffany’s. ?She wasn’t being coy though, we actually had business to conduct as it were. ?I bought her some amethyst earrings for Christmas, and being a guy, I didn’t realize that women coordinate their earrings with their necklaces. ?Seriously, I learn something new everyday. ?So we inquired about the matching amethyst necklace. ?We were kindly directed downstairs and met up with a genial salesman. ?Looking through the collection, he regretted that there were no amethyst necklaces in stock (due to their popularity), but he kindly showed us the exact same model necklace featuring a different gem stone and provided us with his business card. ?It would have been convenient if they had the necklace in stock, and we could have wrapped up things there, but at least the customer service was very friendly and we know everything we need to know to secure the necklace back in New York. ?Everyone we spoke with was professional, helpful, and friendly. ?Overall, a lovely store even if you are not looking for anything in particular; I just wish the selection was a bit better at this location.
This is really one of my favorite places to buy a fabulous gift. ?The quality is just priceless and absolutely impeccable. ?Okay, you will probably encounter a bit of attitude from one or more of the prima donna’s who seem to care more about talking to each other than making sure you’re getting what you want but there are so few boutiques today with consistent quality merchandise that it’s worth it. ?You walk out with true gems.Parking isn’t the most convenient but it’s worth the walk. ?You simply must shop there at least once.
here’s a little quote miss audrey hepburn said about tiffany’s & having the “reds”…”Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name! “well…the only bad thing that can happen there is the snooty sales people not giving you the time of day — it doesn’t matter if you’re on the first floor ($$$$$) or the second floor ($$$). they suck…i mean, how much could they be making??! the only GREAT customer service i received was on the third floor, where the customer service is located. whateverrr…it is true, though, when you enter the store…it’s quiet and peaceful and isn’t messy like the jewelry stores in the malls. HA!at the end of the day, it’s still tiffany’s & i love tiffany’s.
i used to get little birthday presents here&there for my friends at tiffany’s but i’m done over-paying for sterling silver, which is what made tiffany’s who they are today (&continuing). &i wouldn’t consider getting ‘fine jewelry’ here (even tho they’re famous for their tiffany’s engagement ring) cuz i’d much prefer ‘fine jewelry’ (or expensive jewelry of real value) from some place like cartier or the like, or from private jewelers just so that i’d get exactly what i want.
great selection compared to the other tiffanys. this place gets very busy during the holidays. ?surprisely, there are many cute gifts under $300.00. tiffanys south coast plaza also has very good selections. ?however, for diamond engagement rings. i would check out the los angeles jewelry district. ?tiffany has much better customer service than debeers or cartier!
Three stories of decadence. Extra star for the employees not giving me weird looks for being a plebian.
i love tiffany, the people are nice, and the bottom floor has so many amazing diamonds. i wish i could afford.
The customer service in this store is bad! ?I will never go back. ?In my opinion, the sales people are bigots that do not respond to customer they do not beleive will give them big commissions. ?I went into the store recently for a small item. ?They passed me over to help middle age women they must have throught there were bigger commissions to be had. There can be no other explanation. This store is not run well and in my view engage in unfair business practices.
Tiffany is Tiffany. The stuff is basically the same wherever you go. I normally like their jewelry but I have to give only 2 stars to this location. God what a disaster. The free parking is a complete clusterfuck. The valets are douche bags and the garage is always packed so you have to wait a good 20 mins at least to get your car. There really isn’t any other alternative though cause Beverly Hills parking sucks in general. Also, this location is just disorganized. I have ordered several items here for my boss through a personal shopper and there has always been a problem. You’d think with a personal shopper and a corporate account that they’d be on top of their game… nope. They sent an order to an address we didn’t request, they couldn’t find another order even though they called to say it was ready, they don’t return phone calls or messages left, and they take unnecessarily long. This is not the customer service you would expect from this company.

This review is long overdue.Lynette Vannoy helped me pick out the perfect ring for my fiance. ?It was by pure coincidence that Lynette helped me pick out a great ring, and the next day my fiance met her to “browse” for a ring (without me knowing) and picked out the perfect ring that she wanted. ?I gave Lynette my budget, she knew exactly which ring my fiance wanted and the surprise all went off without a hitch. ?I just wish she was there when I picked up my ring so I could thank her before the proposal.Lastly, the warranty/maintenance plan is a must! ?And you get free cleanings and all that jazz.Good times!
In the end we got our ring from the RB in Torrance. We were passing through the area and stopped by this location and are so sorry we did :[The lady who "helped" us was so awful! She constantly badgered us and blatantly tried to make us purchase a ring on the spot! Think car salesman at its worst. I really love RB, they have an amazing selection on hand, variety in settings, gems, brands, prices and quality. And what you don't see, they can make for you. I really hate to give them such a low rating, but Jenny really left a bad taste in our mouth and almost ruined our day. We kept reminding her that we had to leave for work and she wouldn't relent! Ugh! She also kept getting my fiance's name wrong even after being corrected twice! I hope the rest of the staff is as wonderful as in Torrance, and I hope you never have to deal with her.. seriously, I hope she was just having a bad day and had too much caffeine
Let me start by saying we did NOT buy a ring here, but went to look at the selection and get an idea of what I would want so when it came time to buy, my boyfriend (now fiancé) could surprise me with something I'd love... We were helped by Iris who was a ton of fun and super helpful, we actually fell in love with a ring but weren't ready to buy, but armed with the knowledge we got from here, we were able to make a great purchase online. We got a much higher quality and larger diamond online for thousands less than what we would've paid here. Anyhow, this place was nice and Iris was helpful, and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't comfortable buying online. Before we went to the Glendale store, we went to the Pasadena store, beware of that location. We were helped by a nice lady named Maria, came back the next day while she was at "lunch" ten minutes after they opened and because they knew we had been helped by an associate already, nobody spoke with us while we waited for 30 minutes before deciding to try out the Glendale store.
So, I came here Valentine's day to pick out my wedding band with my fiance. We are happy customers of Robbins brothers, having purchased my diamond engagement ring here about a year ago..and returned knowing we would find what we wanted.Sylvia was our sales associate that day and was wonderful with helping us find exactly what we wanted. She wasn't pushy at all and showed us a large variety of wedding bands in our price range that would go well with my engagement ring. I am notoriously bad at making decisions and wavered back and forth between two rings before finally settling on a simple curved diamond band that cradled my solitaire. The price was actually VERY reasonable considering that I'd gone to at least three other jewelry stores browsing before hand and found most rings to be overpriced. The ambiance there is great, there are free drinks and comfy chairs while you wait. I highly recommend this Robbins brothers to anyone looking for a professional and quality jewelry store.
My husband and I took our rings here yesterday to have them clean, polished and inspected (for free of course). ?When we arrived, we were greeted immediately by a sales lady, who then took our rings to have them cleaned. ?We were able to watch through the window as the jeweler tightened the diamonds on my engagement band and wedding ring. ?Within 10-15 minutes she returned with our rings looking sparkly and brand new. ?I love how they have this free service as it helps maintain the beauty of the ring. ?They do have a new policy. ?Instead of requiring customers to take their ring in every six months to have it cleaned and inspected to maintain the warranty, ?it is now only once a year. ?But of course you can take it more than one a year if you'd like.As for selection, they have a great variety of rings to choose from. ?We actually purchased my engagement ring from this location 7 years ago. ?We purchased our wedding bands from their Montclair location. ?All three rings are gorgeous! ?No regrets on purchasing our rings from here!
Have you bought a car lately? Do you enjoy high pressure sales at car dealerships? Well i don't....i HATE car dealerships, every several years when i trade my car in...i DREAD going.Well, take away the cars wedding favor boxes, add a extra shot of high pressure sales, add a few hundred rings and blend...and thats what you have here.My wife and i got married 5 years ago so this review should have been added when we got engaged back in 2005 but oh well.We go in, we get asked about how much i wanna spend, how much can i afford and basically get the same high pressure sales and ass-kissing you would get at a dealership and if dont take the bait...they basically couldnt give a damn if you were on fire. Places that do that really piss me off.No thanks..we left and found better prices somewhere else.
My fiancée and I went to Robbins Brothers this evening and had a wonderful experience. Anthony R. was very knowledgeable, accommodating and very patient. Another great purchase augmented by exceptional service. Thanks Finn!
Just because I don't have a guy attached to my arm doesn't mean I am not going to buy anything. My friend and I came here last week because we wanted to show each other what engagement rings we want our boyfriends to buy. As we walked in we were greeted by a gentleman who was pretty friendly. After that it was pretty much downhill. All the other sale associates decided to walk away from us. They weren't going to help customers but decided to "hang out" in their offices. My friend and I walked around the store at least twice and no one came over to help us. Finally the guy who greeted us came over to help us. Should I hire a man next time when I go into an engagement store?
After reading all those bad reviews I am shocked! Before I proposed to my wife I shopped at many places I will have to admit. I saw an add for Robbins Brothers and decided to go in to see what they had to offer. I was greeted by the friendlies person there! So maybe you should all ask for her. Lynette Vannoy. She took hours to help me feel comfortable with what I wanted to get and she showed me anything I wanted. I took my time to think about it and came running back to her!Funny story is my gf at the time wanted to go there to check the store out. I called and left a voice mail telling Lynette we were stopping by and to please act like she didn't know me LOL. She played it very well and honestly I got a better idea of what my now wife loved! My gf even secretly got her info and got me a ring there as well!!!Lynette was a pleasure to have there. She eased my mind, and helped me make one of the biggest decisions I thought I would ever make. I would go back here in a heartbeat to buy something. Every time we go back to clean our rings or we are in the area we are always welcomed. I love this place! Thanks Robbins Brothers! And a BIG thank you to LYNETTE V. Seriously all you who had a bad experience, give her a try!
This was the first time i stepped into this place and i was welcomed with a great smile. Jenny was really patient and really explained every aspect of selecting the perfect ring. Even though we chose a ring right away she still let us walk around make sure that we were Happy with our selection. This was a wonderful experience and if you ever come by here ask for Jenny to help you out. : ).
Hehe...We came here just to find my size and style of ring I liked. ?We actually didn't buy anything from here. They have a huge selection of rings - engagement rings and wedding bands and other types of jewelry. ?They even have an area where you can see the guy probably making someone's ring! Our consultant helped us out and let me try on the rings I liked. ?After you pick your ring, they send you to another sales person and they take you to the back of the room to show you through a smaller microscope (or whatever it's called) to see the clarity of the diamond. ?They also give you their spiel about why it's better to buy from Robbins Brothers versus buying from elsewhere.I'm not sure what the prices are. It's alright but it looks pretty expensive!
** Short impersonal review **A ring store with annoying radio commercials, but as the commercial says, they have a large selection of rings so you can't go wrong. The sales person we got helped us stay within our budget range and gave us exactly what we asked for. (something shiny, duh..) Overall, yay, I'm a fan ! There's ample parking in the back. Ooh...and they can give you free water or soda too. ** Long-winded but rather personal version of my review ** I have been a Los Angelina for 13 years now and every so often, I'd hear this commercial on the radio that goes something like this:"Robbins Bros - The World's Biiiiiiiiiiiggest Engagement StoreSkip: Hey, Steve. Do you know why [insert something mundane here] ???Steve: Oh, I don’t know what you’re talking about, Skip. But we _are_ the biiiiigest engagement ring store. We’ve been around and we have a huge selection.”To which I respond with: *changes radio station* ” Stupid radio commercial. Now where’s my ghetto booty shakin’ music…They’re so irritating -_-; “Despite me being a hater, I do have to give props to Robbins Brothers and their annoying radio commercials….because when it came time for me to buy a band quick, I thought of them. Annoying marketing strategy? Yes. Effective enough ?for me to remember their name? Fortunately, that’s a yes.” Wait, Robbins Bros is an ENGAGEMENT ring store, you silly girl,” you might tell me. So, FYI they sell bands too. Now, continuing on with my review…The natural Yelper that I am, I researched this company prior to going here. “They’re too pushy.” Some of them wrote. I reported my findings to my love and he said, “…what do you expect? They’re sales people. Of course, they’re going to be pushy.”I can’t stand super pushy sales people, so I mentally prepared myself for my encounter with them by becoming something they don’t like: a firm woman who knows what she wants. I was ready to fight for my battle.” I’m looking for a band. It has to be [this metal] from [this price range] and it looks like [this design] ” I told the sales person in the store with a if-you-try-to-suggest-something-else-i’ll-give-you -and-your-store-hell type of look.”Sure,” said the salesperson with no hesitance. He brought us to the section with [this metal] with [this price range] with [this design]. After looking at several ones, we found the perfect shiny one. We were so happy and our salesperson wasn’t pushy at all. We stayed in budget and all is good.Overall, yay, I’m a fan of Robbins Bros. Not sure if it’s as good as it gets as I’m sure I’ll be in other ring stores later on in my life to be able to compare this place to in terms of pricing and service. They definitely have my recommendation with service. There’s ample parking in the back. Ooh…and they can give you free water or soda too. So, here’s to my 200th review. It’s not as special as to how I came about writing this review, but that’s another story for another time.
I’ve heard the many many radio commercials from Robbins Brothers about their engagement ring store stating they have the largest selection and even more.Let me tell you what they have that is NOT more. ?It is a typical overpriced chain jewelry store. ?My boyfriend and I went to Robbins Brothers in search for my engagement ring. ?We wanted a place where the selection was large and vast because I wasn’t sure which style of ring or diamond I was looking for.We went in and we were immediately given a saleperson who was not able to help us at all. I mentioned that we were shopping for an engagment ring and would like to see some styles. He did not ask us questions on what we were looking for or what we were trying to accomplish that day. ?He eventually switched us to another salesperson, “diamondologist”. The second salesperson was better. He asked us questions that lead to me choosing an emerald cut. ?However, he only showed us two different diamonds simply based on our budget we told him. ?Then he lead us into his “office” and began showing us the difference between the two stones. ?After a short while, he started to ask us how we were planning to pay for the engagement ring. ?I told him we haven’t thought of the details of paying yet. ?As I mentioned before we wanted to simply look at their LARGEST selection. ?The salesperson rudely replied, “Well, you better start thinking about how you will be paying for it now.” ?We were both taken back and shocked at this very rude statement.Needless to say, the rest of our experience was Awful!!!! ?We didn’t buy or decide on anything that day. ?We never went back and when the salesperson called us back my boyfriend told him not to bother us anymore. This was our first time at a jewelry store for such a large purchase and we had one of the worst experiences. ? I DO NOT Recommend this place at all. ?Yes, they have a very large selection but they are VERY VERY overpriced and very rude. ?We have had much better experiences engagement ring hunting at the Los Angeles Jewelry District.
We bought our engagement ring from Robbin’s Brothers, and worked with Lynette Vannoy. ?She was incredible. ?Before we went to Robbins Brother’s we knew we had a custom request, and Lynette made sure that every detail was considered. ?She also researched and found the exact stone we were hoping to find and within our budget, and she always made us feel comfortable and made time to see us. ?Our experience at Robbins Brothers was a complete joy and surpassed our expectations. ?A big shout out to to Lynette!! ?You’re the best!
Chris Ada is the man christmas decorations! ?Excellent customer service! Made us feel really comfortable!
I was feeling tired of wearing a wedding ring with a stone everyday, so on a whim I decided to stop by the store and purchase a plain wedding band. ?I was greeted by cheerful staff and was professionally assisted in choosing a comfortable band. ?I am so happy with my band, it is nothing fancy. ?I made it clear to the sales associate on what it was I wanted and she surley performed. ?I also noticed that they have some other very nice jewerly pieces, I might be going back for one.
I don’t know how this place manages to stay in business. ?You already go into a jewelry store feeling scared because you don’t know if you’re getting your monies worth and the sales people here don’t make it any easier. ?They hover over you like a hungry wolf hover over it’s prey. I love jewelry and I occasionally (once a year if lucky) like buying a nice piece for myself. After giving this place a try because I thought they might have more choices then the mom and pop stores in Glendale, I decided to stick to the place my mom is a loyal customer of in Glendale, Bidrussian Jewelry. ?It’s a small mom and pop store, but they have a lot of choices for a small place and they ARE NOT pushy at all.
Robbins Brothers has an incredible selection of rings. ?Jose Rodriguez was my sales person. ?He was very helpful and knowledgeable and did not pressure me in any way. ?He was very willing to work with me to stay within a price range I was comfortable with. ?Overall a pleasant experience. ?Ask for Jose!
their customer service blows. ?the 1st time we went in, we found a ring i wanted, but it was in white gold and we wanted the platinum to match my engagement ring. ?the sales guy said he would find out if the manufacturer made it in platinum and call us in a few days. ?my fiance also tried on a ring we loved but was going to wait until we bought mine to get his. ?we never heard back from the guy. ?really? ?2 rings to be sold and you’re not gonna call us to follow up? ?we ended up getting my ring elsewhere (bridal rings company) and got a GREAT deal. ?much better than robbins brothers could have matched… but my fiance still wanted the ring he tried on, and unfortunately robbins brothers was the only store to carry that designer. ?so we went back today to take a look at it again. ?we walked in, were asked what we were looking for. ?i told the girl we wanted to see a specific ring again. ?she asked for the item #. ?i said we didn’t know. ?is that unusual to not know the item #? ?but we know the ring, we said. ?so she told us to go on in. ?we found the ring. ?no salesperson to help us. ?we walked past the other cases with men’s rings to see the selection. ?still no sales person. ?we went back to the original case with his desired ring. ?and stood there. ?for 10 minutes. ?no sales person. ?if we know EXACTLY which ring we want, and are here to BUY it, wouldn’t that be more incentive for a sales person to come help us? ?overall we waited around for 15-20 minutes with not even a nod of acknowledgement and then left. ?we don’t want to spend money where people can’t even bother to look at us.
If you’re looking for engagement or wedding bands, I simply cannot imagine a place with more selection. Literally there are thousands of rings in this place. They have more selection in one corner than most jewelry places have in their whole store (believe me, I did my homework and shopped around gift ideas for bpyfriend, including the internet). Whatever your budget is, they’ve got something that will work for you, and they won’t try and foist something on you that doesn’t suit you or your bride to be, nor will they make you feel cheap if you can’t spend a year’s salary on a ring. All of their branches also have jewelers right on site, and can accommodate custom choices. Some folks have commented to me, “oh why didn’t you go to the jewelry district, or buy online?” I did! ?Regarding both, a) the jewelry district in downtown LA is simply overrated, and is like a Persian Bizarre–dozens of vendors yelling at you to come check out their stuff and giving you the hard sell; b) online stores (while some are reputable) are a very dicey decision when selecting a diamond–this is a very fine aesthetic we are talking about, i.e., how light goes though a prism and plays off of the facets–you simply can’t make that determination on a website just by looking at rankings (color, cut) all to save maybe a few hundred bucks on tax. ?Plus, where is the relationship there? ?Robbins Brothers has been in business for over 50 years, there is a reason for that.Of the stores, the Glendale branch is the best in my opinion. I have never had a person that wasn’t helpful at any of the branches I’ve been to, but the diamontologist I worked with (Lynette Lavoy) at the Glendale location really is a credit to her profession. (she has since helped me with two jewelry purchases for my wife post wedding). Why is Lynette great? First, to me, any relationship regarding a major purchase–i.e., jewelry, a car, a house–comes down to trust and the integrity of the sales person. I just simply trust Lynette. I brought my (then) fiance in to just get an idea of what style she liked before buying the actual ring, and she was immediately at ease with Lynette. When I got to the moment of truth, i.e. picking the right setting and weighing one diamond v. another, I think Lynette worked with me 5-6 hours straight, and brought me in right around my budget. One of the other things I love about Lynette is her sense of aesthetics and honest advice. I can give her the “which one would you rather have” question and I know I’ll get an honest answer. ?In the end, I got a great diamond that even my mother-in-law approved of. Trust me, if you’re getting engaged, go check this place out.
Here is the condensed version: I will NOT be going back to RB for any jewelry services. For someone that didn’t know anything about jewelry it was ok but after getting a second opinion from another professional jeweler I know now they’re over priced and the customer service is shoddy. Don’t let the free water fool you. They will try to nickel and dime you for every little thing and they will do everything they can to get money out of you.Detailed version: My husband bought my engagement ring from a wholesaler family friend so when we needed to get my wedding band we had to do a bit of searching. We went to Robbins Bros mostly because it was a place we were familiar with. We were able to find a band that matched my custom engagement ring which was cool but every other service I’ve had with them since has been a huge headache and I really wish we hadn’t gone there. After the wedding I had the bands solder and engraved for $125. They told me my engagement ring would now be covered with RB since they were considered to be one ring. All my future cleanings and rodium would be covered in that one payment. Fast forward a few months after I lost 35 pounds and needed my rings sized. Wedding band wouldn’t be a problem but they couldn’t do the engagement ring because one of the diamonds had a chip and they didn’t want to be responsible if anything happened to it since it wasn’t their ring. After going back and forth about what to do they decided to only size the wedding band and then refuse the rings since I only needed one of them to fit in order to keep it from falling off. This was an ok solution but the negative was it took them a week to get it done and when they refused the rings they covered up all the engraving I had paid for a few months before.I brought the rings in again a few months later after I lost another 40 pounds and they wanted to charge me $100 to have my engagement ring sized. I told them I had already paid them to have them soldered and they said the rings would now be one ring so why would I have to pay again. The excuse they gave was the cost was to add metal because it wasn’t their ring – um, hello! I needed it downsized (taking metal out)! I told them this then they said “oh well it’s for our labor costs.” It’s like they were making it up as they went along. I was ok with paying for sizing but I knew $100 was a rip off so I asked if I could take it across the street to the Galleria because Kevin Jewelers only charges $35 for sizing. They said no because it would negate the warranty on my wedding band. I asked if they would split the rings, have them size my wedding band, and I would take my engagement ring somewhere else then have them put back together. They gave me some song and dance with excuse after excuse and every option I proposed was shot down with no options to help. First of all why is it that I, the customer, am coming up with all the solutions? Second, they said they had to charge me because it wasn’t their ring now they said only they could work on it because the rings were now one ring. Make up your mind! You can’t have it both ways. After 30 minutes and one pissed off customer I guess they were tired of dealing with me and they agreed to just do it for free.A week later they call me and said they can’t work on the ring because a diamond is chipped and it runs the risk of falling apart if they work on it. Didn’t you already know that from the first time I brought it in??? I asked how much it would be to simply replace the diamond and they quoted me $750 and it would take 4 weeks because it’s a special cut. Forget that! So what they ended up doing is splitting the rings, they sized my wedding band and I picked up the engagement ring and I took it somewhere else to be worked on. EXACTLY what I had proposed in the first place that they said they couldn’t do!I took my ring to Bridal Rings Company after finding them on yelp (4.5 star rating) and they sized my ring for $45 and gave me a quote to replace the diamond for $150 and it would only take a day or two. They agreed the diamond was chipped like RB said but the crumbling was an exaggeration and that it should be fine under normal cleaning and sizing circumstances. They suggested not buying another diamond right now because the risk was minimal. RB was totally full of it. My ring was done in two hours and they even cleaned my ring and gave it a complimentary rodium dipping. They even took pictures of it under a special camera and showed us some before and after pictures so we could see the difference. I REALLY wish I had gone there in the first place.I will never buy another piece of jewelry from RB and I am seriously rethinking if I want my rings to be resoldered. I am so tired of dealing with RB and their BS. There really are many other companies out there that provide far better customer service with a wider selection of rings and much better craftsmanship with much quicker jeweler services.
This place deserves negative stars. Don’t be fooled by their kind and warm commercials on the radio. Their sales people were not honest with hidden requirements tied to their products. The sales person convinced me to buy a band I was hesitant about. All though at first I felt luke warm about it, he finally convinced me to purchase the band by highlighting the fact that it was protected by a lifetime guarantee. He failed to mention that the guarantee required my fiance to come in every 6 months to get it cleaned! He kept pushing the sale and highlighing the guarantee, despite the fact that I told him we were planning to move abroad and would not have access to a Robbins Brothers within that country. I only found out about the “6 month requirement” when I got home and read the fine print within the lifetime guarantee certificate. On top of this, their selection of diamonds was very limited and overpriced. Many of their diamonds had obvious flaws. Despite their blemishes, these diamonds were marketed by the sales person as some of their best. If you’re looking for a good engagment ring establishment, forget about Robbins Brothers. They over-hype and under deliver.
I read over some of the bad experiences people had here, and felt obligated to write a counterpoint. ?I may have just gotten lucky, but I had *1* day to buy an engagement ring and Patrick took such good care of me. ?I brought a female friend to give me the female perspective as well as be my hand model, and Patrick must have spent 3+ hours with me walking me thru the choices, showing us the diamond under high power magnification, and then the paperwork. ?This guy clearly knew his stuff, and they provided everything from 1-year’s insurance for free, to free resizing, gem replacement, and yearly cleanings at no cost. ?I felt very happy with my purchase and didn’t feel I got the high-pressure sales pitch or anything. ?Buying a ring a Costco doesn’t come with those extras. What really put my buying experience over the top, tho, was that Patrick also cared enough to ask how and where I was going to propose. ?I explained that it would be at night and at the end of a pier. ?He said, “I have the perfect box for you” and came back a minute later. ?The box he gave me has this BRIGHT led light that turns on when you open the box, shining RIGHT on the ring. ?Every time my (now) wife tells people this story of the night we got engaged, they just HAVE to see the box and they are stunned. ?My wife’s boss liked the box so much she even went into the store and asked for one, even though she didn’t buy anything. ?And you know what? ?They just gave one to her! ?To me, that totally sums up my experience at this place. ?Full service, super nice and thoughtful sales people. ?Patrick made one of the most important days of my life one of the easiest, and for that I will be eternally grateful.
WATCH OUT FOR THEIR SALES TACTICS!!!!!We went here because we heard they had one of the largest selections of engagement rings – which they do .. but for a multitude of reasons, I wouldn’t even bother.Firstly they are by far the most expensive chain jeweler I’ve been to, secondly it’s not a place you can casually shop. ?They WILL give you the hard sell and make it incredibly difficult to leave. ?Each time we asked for a business card the sales associate returned with a higher level salesperson to “close the deal.” ?We never got a business card, after patiently waiting twice. ?Guess what? ?We will never be buying anything from them either.
And the saga continues. Our “adventure” with Robbins has been going on for a year now! Aww, bless their little hearts, they just can’t get it right! Here’s the story as succinctly as I can tell it.1. Sized me wrong when we went in, so the ring was way big when he proposed (kind of a downer)2. They resized it wrong … and so within a few months the diamond got LOOSE and we almost lost it! Geez!3. They resized it again, but this time with “added reinforcements” in all the right places ….4. And – snap! – ring BREAKS on the honeymoon approximately 1 hour before snorkeling in the ocean, when I would have most definitely LOST the diamond.5. Take ring in to be fixed and get them to agree to buy us a new replacement from Ritani. 6. Ritani replacement comes in and they suddenly decide they don’t want to be responsible for setting it – just in case.7. And so – 1 year later – my ring is now being shipped to God knows where to be set by Ritani. 8. And best of all — the jewelers talk on their cell phones while making the rings. NOT awesome. I recommend Icing on the Ring in the jewelry district.
Just an update to my previous post that now my wedding band cracked. ?That makes 3 ongoing repairs to 3 rings purchased thru RB–within the past 10 months. ?My engagement ring cracked twice, my wedding band cracked once (and I’ve only been wearing it for 3 mos) and my husband’s band was too small so he sent it back and they resized it to the SAME size. ? Poor ring quality and bad customer service.
My boyfriend hates Robbins Bros.. the salesppl are retarded. ?Before them we’ve gone thru the jewelry district.. there’s a pattern in selling I noticed.. ?the first one greets you.. then they call someone who’s more experienced to hone you in.. and finally there’s a closer. ?At Robbins Bros.. the first guy was rude.. he was saying.. oh your hand’s not fat.. I mean I had a customer who was a size 13.. It was like this (he motioned how big it was) and he added ‘like a sausage’. ?And my boyfriend’s all “well guess that person would need a big diamond” and the sales guy said.. “well they got half a carat (rolls his eyes).. which is like ‘bloop!’” ?I only remembered word for word because the way he was talking appalled me. ?And then he pushed us to the “ring designer”. ?This is when I ran into a friend from work. ?And afterwards, the “ring designer” said.. “your friend.. I don’t remember his name.. and the girl..” (can’t remember hers either) .. and then he went on to tell stories.. of a “Frances”, an engineer who purchased a ring from Blue Nile.. but it just didn’t sparkle as much as Robbins Bros rings.. although the specs are perfect on paper. ?We’re like.. well, at least Blue Nile offers GIA Certificates.. do you? ?And he went on every twist and turn saying we don’t do it that way.. because there’s 36 million factors in determining a diamond’s prettiness.. ?He concludes with “I mean, I usually only explain this to doctors and engineers.” ?My boyfriend was like “well, I have a Ph.D. and am an engineer.” ?He laughs nervously and said “that’s why you’re asking all these things.” ?I’m watching and I’m thinking.. no, we’re asking as customers.. I wanna know how you determine your diamonds’ values. ?And then he went on to say how Robbins Bros has a special cut that adds more facets to the diamond.. I was thinking.. umm.. at tiffany’s they warn about diamonds with too many facets (too many being more than 58 in a round brilliant).. it doesn’t add sparkle.. it’s actually obstrusive to how light travels.. ?anyways.. this is a BS store. ?Plus, I find it reallllly hard to believe how he can’t remember customers five minutes ago, but in his example stories he can remember their names. ?Making it up.. anyways.. so much talk, but for some reason, I didn’t learn anything new.. except catching holes in his logic and explanations. ?If you’re not educated about your diamonds though, their service may pass as ok.
I seriously felt as if I was walking onto a used car lot. ?The salesmen are all dressed up in suits, use sales tactics to make you commit, and show you all kinds of documents to justify their inflated prices. ?Guys, since you’re spending a good sum of money on a ring, you should skip this place and all the jewelery stores in the mall and head to the jewelry district in downtown LA. ?It might cost you $20 to park but you’ll be saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars. ?Keep in mind that there are a zillion jewelery retailers down town and you will get overwhelmed. ?Before you head out, do your research here on yelp because some of the sellers with the best deals are located on the higher levels of the buildings.
Your typical overpriced chain jewelry store. ?I’m getting married soon so I came here to look for a wedding band. ?All I wanted was a simple titanium band, and after they showed me a bunch of fancy/busy designs that weren’t what I wanted, they finally showed me a simple, basic brushed titanium band for $295. ?Great, except that they didn’t have my size in stock. ?I’m thinking, “no problem, the wedding is three weeks away, they can get it by then.” ?Then they tell me they can get my size in six to eight weeks, and they assure me that it won’t be a problem because they can “loan” me a ring in my size (but a different style) to wear at the ceremony, then when my ring comes in two months later, I can come back to the store and trade rings. ?I’m extremely skeptical of this plan, but I tell them I’ll think about it and let them know. Then I go home, look online, and the first website the comes up on google has the identical ring, in stock, in my size, for $95 (versus the $295 Robbins Bros. wanted). ?I got the ring three days later with free fed ex shipping, and it fit perfectly. ?So instead of waiting for two months and paying three times as much at Robbins Bros., I got the same band in under a week for less than 1/3 the price.I have no idea why Robbins Bros couldn’t get the ring for 6 to 8 weeks when I was able to get it in three days, nor do I know why they wanted to charge almost $300 for a basic titanium band that is widely available for under $100. ?I do know that I will be avoiding this store in the future.
Great service. great selection. Reasonable prices.I initially went alone and my salesperson Nosh was very helpful. She patiently gave me a tour of the sections I liked the most and although she knew I wasn’t buying that day she helped me find the perfect setting which we emailed to my boyfriend. My boyfriend ended up going back, buying it and was pleased with his experience as well.I realize why fellow reviewers would think their prices are a bit much, but when you add up the lifetime warranty and unlimited cleaning/dipping services it all makes sense.I definitely recommend this store =)
Silvea was the most helpful, caring, understanding, patient and accommodating Customer Service Representative I have ever dealt with in my life. ?She was phenomenal. ?If you go there, ask for Silvea. ?I am left speechless about how great she was at knowing what we wanted and finding it for us. ?I had to have a rush put on the ring I ordered so that we would have it when we went to my fiancé’s family’s hometown to propose there. ?It wasn’t going to be done in time, but she offered a great solution, she got everything done quickly and perfectly.
We’ve since purchased my wedding band at this location, and received excellent service. I wish I’d bought my engagement ring here as well! The prices are not great (you could do a lot better in the diamond district), but the selection and service are.
my boyfriend and i made an appointment thru email dec. 23, got the confirmation on the 24th, showed up to the store on the 26th. a gentleman at the door greeted us and we tell him we were there to meet with Lynette. she asked us what our goal for the day was and we told her that we weren’t planning on buying anything that day. all we wanted was to try to figure out what style i liked and we wanted to learn more about buying diamonds. i showed Lynette some styles i saw in their website, and she pulled them out for me to try on. one ring was on the other side of the store, so she had me browse thru the other designs on my way there and see if i wanted to try any of them. she had me choose four settings (so she’s not pulling out 20 rings off the cases, and to narrow down my own choices). after much thought and examination with the settings, she asked me to make myself busy cuz she needed to speak with my boyfriend alone (to talk about a price point – financial stuff). then we met with a diamond specialist and we learned about the 4 Cs and much more. we asked all the questions – diamond sizes, what makes it more valuable, what if we get the diamond from them and get a setting somewhere else… all the stuff we needed to know. i’m not planning on upgrading my ring, maybe not until a 10th, 20th, or maybe 50th anniversary, and i want my boyfriend and i to still have our house and vacations, so i’m really giving this ring a lot of thought. i want it perfect and beautiful and still within our budget (actually, HIS budget). we left the store more knowledgeable and happily more confused about buying the perfect ring. 4 stars for being the first jeweler we visited to actually take the time to teach their clients and for not being pushy on selling. my only issue is that i didn’t really fall in love with any of their settings. i suggest going to robbins brothers for the men or couples out there that are planning on buying an engagement ring. they can teach you a lot, and you yourself can make sure you’re getting your money’s worth.
BEWARE OF POOR QUALITY AND SERVICE. ?I purchased my wedding band (Enchante collection) from Robbin Bros while they still had stores in Chicago. ?For the last 15 months I have been wearing the band, it has been nothing but trouble. ?I have had diamonds loosen and fall out of the band, and customer service at the central Robbins Bros location in California has not been helpful. ?When you spend $1200 on a wedding band, you expect it to last many years. I’ve already had to put an additional $100+ into it and just learned I will need to spend more. If this continues I’ll need to replace my wedding band or continue to spend $100+ per year in upkeep.
Maria was extremely friendly and helpful, and after spending 2 days ring shopping, we ended up buying my ring setting here. I was considering buying the diamond here also, but the manager that we talked to was a total jerk, and I wouldn’t have come back if it wasn’t for Maria. Managers who piss off their customers in 5 minutes should never be promoted to managers, are you kidding me? I’d recommend people come browse here for their huge selection of rings at variable prices, but you can get a better deal for high quality diamonds elsewhere.
I didn’t actually come here to get my engagement ring, but I did come here to get my engagement ring re-sized. ?I think they do have a big focus on customer service here, so they had a greeter by the door and even offered us bottled water as we waited. ?I was able to browse around, and the rings are nice looking from the glass. ?I don’t know much about diamonds or engagement rings, but they did have a wide selection. ?My husband did consider a wedding band here, but we found somewhere much cheaper to get the same thing. ?Anyway, for the ring re-sizing, they had my husband look for the number inscription in the diamond when we turned in the ring and when we picked it up to verify that it was still the same diamond, as to assuage any fears we might have had over any diamond tampering, which was something they did automatically. ?I was happy with the fitting afterward, even though I had to do without my ring for a day and a half, I believe. ?Now though, my ring has turned from white gold to a dirty white gold look, with a tinge of yellow on the side that had been re-sized. ?Hopefully that is something that happens with time, but they did coat the ring with something. ?Also, I thought it was kinda expensive, but it was because my ring was not purchased from Robbins Brothers. ?It was $65 plus tax, I think.

Robert is a pro — efficient, helpful, and full of integrity. ?I have replaced watch batteries for several high end watches here and felt the price was reasonable. ?Unlike other places that try to sell you on “extras” that are unnecessary, Robert can be trusted to tell you if/when the battery needs to be replaced, whether or not the watch needs to be serviced (mine did not!) wholesale jewelry findings, and anything else you need to know about the inner workings of your time piece.
Best service and great selection of watches.Don’t let it being in a mall fool you—prices are very competative andRobert goes out of his way to ensure your satisfied with you purchase.Bought a kick-ass Tag Huer for myself and they fixed some other watchesin only an hour. I hate malls but love the food court, this watch place and free parking

The fiance and I were on a mission to get a good deal on our wedding rings. ?Being that we think we’re pretty savvy we headed to the jewelry district to find such deals. ?My fiance gave me a gorgeous antique diamond engagement ring. ?Unfortunately, such a beautiful ring would require a custom wedding band. ?Custom anything in the bridal world usually translates to expensive. ?We originally went to Icing on the Ring. ?The quote for my white gold engraved wedding band with no diamonds was more than double what we actually paid at Modern Design. ?To make a custom band I had to leave my ring for week so that a wax mold could be made. The can make the mold in as little as one business day during the week. ? My fiance also had his band custom made, as the tungsten carbide ring he wanted was not available in his size. ?It took a total of 3 weeks to get both bands made. ?When we picked up the bands I was more than satisfied with my ring. ?The detail and craftsmanship required to make the band was amazing. ?The pictures I posted don’t do it justice. ?I highly recommend going to Modern Design. ?The staff is super friendly. ?They also validate parking so make sure you check out their website to get directions on how to get the the Pershing Square parking. I will definitely be sending anyone in search of quality jewelry at a good price.
We met Eric and Modern Design at a bridal expo in Pasadena. ?He was very welcoming and answered all our questions. ?We made sure to save his info if/when we decided to use Modern Design for our wedding ring.Fast forward about a month, we headed to downtown on a Saturday. ?My fiance and I had no idea what we wanted exactly. ?We looked at a lot of samples over the span of about 15 minutes. ?Eventually in looking at all the different options a lightbulb went off in my fiances mind, she remembered a wonderful configuration that her mom had at one point and always liked it.She asked if we could have two accompanying bands to go along with a simple single elevated stone main ring. ?Eric suggested that we “jacket” the two outer bands. WHOA, awesome! ?Erics suggestions were well received and at no point did Eric ever say, I can’t or won’t to anything.Yesterday we picked up our ring and its amazing. ?Exactly what we wanted it to be. ?Eric and Ike were amazingly courteous and professional. And even included us in the process of setting our main stone, doing a finish polish, cleaning and appraising.I highly recommend them because of their approachability. ?They will not sell you on their goods, they help you decide what you want and make sure that you are happy with it. ?They are located on the 7th floor well away from the craziness of the jewelry marts down below.Another plus is all their jewelry is handcrafted on the premises. ?Really neat knowing that skilled craftsmen built our custom ring from basic raw materials ONSITE! ?A tradition not lost on us but perhaps lost in the mass market. We were so impressed that rather than turning in the original engagement ring for the value of the gold, we decided to keep it and get it resized, polished, restoned (with a sapphire) and replated (white gold needs rhodium plating to help maintain the “white” look, when it wears it begins to look a little off white). Can’t wait for our next amazing experience with Modern Design!

Reading the review below me CZ Jewelry, I had to chuckle and agree. Yes, those were my exact thoughts when I first went to this store… A huge ”WTF” as well as “woooowww so many cute things Men’s Jewelry!!!!” was spinning around my head as I entered.Basically this store offers a lot of “kawaii” items as the owner (Evan)’s hand made accessories; excessively cute, and some excessively obscene. (I bought a necklace that spells out “DRIPPING WET” … go figure.) …and no, it’s not a DIY-craft place. The owner is really nice and friendly, and she gave me a generous discount once because she forgot to bag one of the items I purchased on a visit before. Go here if you love quirky, weird, cute things. If not Wedding Jewelry, don’t go because you’ll just get confused and have no idea what to do.

Bruce is the best Wholesale Costume Jewelry! Not only is he very honest about diamonds and the jewelry/ring making process, but he is also friendly, funny, and easy to work with. My boyfriend (now fiance) and I went to Bruce a couple months ago because the fiance’s parents got their ring here (and his aunts did… and his uncles did… etc). ?We basically went for a consultation and to look at some of the diamonds and settings he had on hand. ?We didn’t pick anything that day since I wanted to be surprised about what the ring looked like and when I’d be getting engaged.Well, I just got engaged yesterday and boy was I ever surprised!! ?I couldn’t have imagined a more classically beautiful ring ?I am very happy with what my fiance picked out and can’t wait to start the wedding planning!!
I recently got engaged and this was the jeweler my fiance and I went to for the ring. ?When we first started looking, we took the typical route which was to visit a large chain store which will remain un-named. ?After dealing with pushy sales people that spouted conflicting information, we decided to ask around for a recommendation and that’s how we found Omni.Boy was the experience night and day! ?The owner of Omni, Bruce, has been in the business for over twenty years and he gets all his business through word-of-mouth. ?He was extremely knowledgeable, low key, and just an all-around nice guy. ?It made the experience more about the excitement of getting engaged rather than about the stress. We’re the type to get into the nitty gritty details and Bruce was so patient with us Costume Jewelry, answering every question in depth. ?During the design process, he made sure he understood exactly what we wanted so he could create the perfect ring we had in mind.In the end, he and his technician Danny created a ring that exceeded our original expectations by a long shot. ?And trust me, our expectations were pretty high to begin with. ?Last but not least, we thought we might have to pay more since he hand-makes everything from scratch. ?But nope, we ended up paying far less than what the chain stores were quoting for comparable quality and weight. ?Thank you Bruce!Consultations are by appointment only but they have Saturday hours which made it a lot easier for us. ?Here’s a link to their website
